How can I get sponsored by Habitat Skateboards?

Good question. Prospective riders are usually brought to our attention through current team riders. Ideally,what we look for are skilled skateboarders with good attitudes who are progressing at a rapid rate. If you ’re getting coverage,that always helps,too. Sponsor-me videos are encouraged, but they ’re usually more effective after you ’ve established some prior coverage. If you feel like you have good footage and are stoked on Habitat, we encourage you to send in a tape. Give us some time to check it out and then follow it up with a call. We ’re stoked when skaters want to represent the company, but DO NOT SEND EMAILS ASKING “WILL YOU SPONSOR ME ” or “WHAT TRICKS DO I NEED TO KNOW TO BE SPONSORED.” If you are serious about seeking sponsorship, then send a video and letter. Emails requesting sponsorship will be quickly deleted.

I want some stickers. How can you hook me up?

DO NOT SEND EMAIL SAYING,“FREE STICKERS.” If you want stickers, send a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope to us and in the left corner of the envelope,simply write “stickers.” It ’s that easy. A SELF-ADDRESSED ENVELOPE is where you send us a normal sized envelope that YOU’VE PUT A STAMP ON and is addressed to yourself with your home address. If you can’t figure it out, ask your parents. If you send us a blank envelope or an envelope with no postage, you won’t get any stickers. Also, a bigger envelope will not get you more stickers. Everyone gets the same amount so just send a regular sized envelope. We’ll hook you up. No more emailing for stickers, kids. If you really want some, you know how to get them.
